We took the opportunity to head to Boat Harbour on Tasmanian's North West and soak up the sun & sand. I must admit that Elijah wasn't as keen. He wasn't sure about the sand or the crashing of the waves in fact. I think we will have to build up his confidence at the beach because I'm sure he will be quite the beach cutie one day!
While we were there he also got his first go on a swing. He absolutely loved it. Lots of laughter and giggling. I think he much preferred the park to the beach!

We tried to get him used to the sound of the waves. We didn't build up the courage for a paddle, maybe next time!

We had a really good time and I think it was really good to get out of the house and have a family day. Since having my back surgery I haven't been able to do all that much and I have been away from Adam for a coupe of months, so we really haven't had any family time. Sometimes it's good to just get out in the nature!
